Film Review The movie Higher Learning order by John Singleton , is a film that motivates sight to discuss a call to runion. The film takes place on a college campus called Columbus University which is a sign of symbolism, in the usher that it takes a name from American figure in which stereotyping began. The film portrays life on campus as a plain between races and sexes. The movie is loaded with situations where people act in a manner thats ridiculous, only because it depicts every racial and ethnical barrier existent to man. Higher Learning focuses on common chord freshman entering a in the altogether world where they are faced with reality of racism, and demonstrates how people grasp stereotypes in polar ways. The main character, Malik, is supposed to portray the stereotype of an African American male athlete on a college scholarship. He is a cocky track star that thinks ever white somebody is out to get him, and that pitch-dark people should stick together to rise above the white man.
